This work consists of four units of the same size (120cm/42cm/4cm). Each unit should be separated from the others by an interval of 20 cm. The position of each panel is clearly defined in the series. All four panels are executed with acrylic on cotton. Based on a geometric and concrete pattern, the work plays with proportion, repetition, symmetry, asymmetry as well as with rules and deviations.
Each panel is unique and singular, but at the same time it is playing its part within the entity. The inner connection results from the combination of different colours, same colours, of sections and divisions. The layers are creating depth, as a visual challenge within the clearly defined series of rectangles.
